to come through

scatter my nightmare
dissolve the demons
as the bad night

animals and birds

the door is open
abandon the cage
leave the shackles
of your mind behind
smell the earth
the morning dew
far far below you
the trees are
whispering a farewell
as you lift your
head towards the sky
feel the wind
a soft caress
spread your wings
and fly among

standing barefoot
gazing out
over the ocean
the water
tickles my feet
as the waves
comes rushing in
to gently retreat

looking down
at the sand
between my toes
million grains of sand
playing hide and seek
like the stars at night
when they hide
behind the clouds

grey thick fog
is rolling in
blurring the line
where land
and ocean meet
until it no longer exists
disappears from view
into a world
of total silence
